Donell was born in Sedro Wooley, Washington. His family moved to Billings Montana in 1967 and he has stayed here ever since attending Billings Public Schools and Eastern Montana College. With all of his connections in Montana, he believes Montana truly is “the last best place.”
Donell began his career in financial services with Dean Witter. After stints with two other firms, he jumped at the chance to join RidgeLine Wealth Partners where he has the latitude to work with the clients of his choosing without the constraints of the large firms.
Donell focuses on wealth accumulation, small business retirement plans and generating income through investments.
Donell married his high school sweetheart in 1982 and has 2 grown children. He is a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity, NRA, has served on the boards of the Beartooth Nature Center, Red Lodge Festival of Nations and Montana District #1 Little League. In addition, he is a longtime supporter of The Boy Scouts, Little League Baseball, and the music department of the Billings School District.
Outside of the office Donell enjoys playing the bagpipe, curling, golfing, fishing, hunting, skiing, camping and spending time with friends and family.
